UIL Success!

It was an extremely successful UIL for the BHI Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band. Both groups participated in the Region 19 UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluation in early March and the kids performed brilliantly! Both groups earned a 'Sweepstakes' rating from the judges, which means they received a superior, division one rating in both prepared pieces and in sight-reading. This is the highest rating possible and is first time that both groups have achieved this distinction in five years. We are very proud of the work of our outstanding young musicians! Go bears!
