Celebrating our All-City Success!

We are excited to announce the results from this weekend’s All-City Band Auditions. The students have been preparing some difficult music and scales since the beginning of the year and performed an audition at Queens Intermediate on Saturday against other PISD students.

Students in our top band are required to audition, and of the 32 students who auditioned, 19 made the all-city band! We also had 5 students make 1st chair for their section. We are super proud of these kids and hope that you will congratulate them.

A special thank you to Mr. Hardy who has worked very hard to prepare the percussion students this year. Our students will be continuing to work and learn more music in preparation for the all-region auditions in early November. The students above will represent BHI as members of the All-City band in December as they march in the Pasadena Holiday Lighted Parade. Way to go band!
